There are arguably
no options available to remove
unwanted hair permanently.
The different methods are as
follows:
Shaving cuts the hair off at the
skin surface.
Plucking hair with tweezers is
an effective way to remove hair but tedious and it hurts.
With waxing, sticky wax is
spread on the skin. Waxing leaves the
area smooth and lasts several; weeks.
A depilatory is a chemical cream
or liquid that removes hair from the skin's surface. The chemical is toxic to the skin.
Hair roots are still alive and
will grow again with most treatments unless removed by electrolysis.
Electrolysis removes hair
permanently, so that it will never grow back.
Always use water or gel as
lubrication when shaving.
